- Functional Requirements for B/W, Color & Large Format Color Scanner/Printer/Controller System Required – An integrated solution to include a B/W, Color and large format production printers that can be connected electronically with 24/7 technical support provided by a single vendor to encompass both software and hardware specifications Production B/W Printer •Must be capable of printing up to 250, 8.5x11 ppm •Registration within.1 millimeter •Surface to surface toner transfer - no developer or fuser oil •600 x 1200 dpi •Multi-sheet detection •Interposer capability •Load/unload capability •Duplex printing •Touch screen interface •Four drawer capacity •Print up to 11” x 17” •On line scanner – able to scan up to 11x17 •Prints paper weight from 20# bond to 110# index •Capability to print multi-line double sided laminated tabs •Finisher (stacker/stapler) required •Accepts files in various formats (PDF, TIFF, JPEG, EPS) •Must accommodate collection and insertion of special material (interposer) •Needs to be a Module print system Production Color Machine •Must be capable of printing at 600x1800 dpi-resolution output and is a Pantone Licensed device. •Automatic Size detection •Auto tray switching capability •Capability to print multi-line double sided laminated tabs •Capability of collating sets up to 3500 sheets without manual labor. •Must operate at speeds up to (50) PPM for Full Color 8.5 x 11 •Prints up to 11x17 •Options must include copying capabilities with capturing 300 11x17 pages at a time with 25% - 400% enlargement and reduction, margin shift and making copies of books. •Must be able to have automatic image rotation •Must be able to concurrently scan, print and program jobs •4 Color Modes from the copier of Automatic, 4 Color, 3 Color and Black •Image Quality controls •Ability to modify Hue, Color Balance, Chrome and Sharpness •Options must include option for stapling and stacking output. •Counterfeit Deterrent system to protect agency of counterfeit or misuse. •Ability for an operator to recalibrate the system without any extra options other than the copier interface for day to day and document to document image integrity. •Ability for an operator to clean corotron assemble to increase consistent copy quality and machine uptime. •Center of the page registration for better +/- 1.2mm process direction; Security The suite would be NNPP Net connected through a router and managed as primarily Windows-based peripherals.
