Description
DNHPP would like to obtain the services of a contractor to assist its Hospital Preparedness Program (HPP) in ensuring that awardees use their Cooperative Agreement funds to maintain, refine, and to the extent achievable, enhance the capacities and capabilities of their healthcare systems; and for exercising and improving preparedness plans for all-hazards including pandemic influenza. This contract will foster uniform community preparedness and prevention. It requires the assistance of a nationally recognized organization capable of serving as both a single point of contact and as an intermediary between DNHPP and the State and Territorial Health Officials, who are integrally involved in the continued development and success of the Hospital Preparedness Program. As a result, the Division of National Healthcare Preparedness is seeking an organization that: •Represents the State and Territorial Health Officials •Is viewed by them as an advocate on all issues related to the health of the public in the individual States and Territories and, most importantly, •Can facilitate the acquisition of information and gain the cooperation of individual States and Territories concerning issues key to the success of HPP through activities and Tasks that will contribute to improved State/ Federal: -Communication, -Coordination, -Cooperation, and -Collaboration with each other and individual hospitals. The Complete Statement of Work will be posted in approximatly 15 days after the posting of this synopsis. The requirement is being awarded under Part 12, Part 13 and Part 15 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation and FAR CIR.2005-32.
