- Description
- Objectives: Infrared camera to measure thermal sensitivity, with dynamic detail enhancement, to include a built-in geographic positioning system. Images will need to be downloaded for viewing and e-mailing. This camera will be used to characterize and detect coal mine fires at mine sites. Due to the terrain associated with many of these mine fires, it is imperative that a high quality GPS enabled hand held device be available for all or our Western Region states, tribes and Office of Surface Mining employees.
