- Description
- The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) or Government (Twin Ports Outpatient Clinic, TPOC) has identified a requirement for back-up laboratory services to support Primary Medical Services at the TPOC. Most laboratory work will be sent to the TPOC for processing at 3520 Tower Avenue, Superior, WI 54880. The base year performance period will be October 1, 2009 through September 30, 2010 with four (4) one-year option periods to be exercised at the government's discretion-Option 1, October 1, 2010 to September 30, 2011; Option 2, October 1, 2011 to September 30, 2012; Option 3, October 1, 2012 to September 30, 2013; and Option 4, October 1, 2013 to September 30, 2014. All qualified offerors are invited to provide a proposal. Offers, including options, shall be evaluated for fair and reasonable pricing, technical competency, and satisfactory past performance, as outlined in the Evaluation Factors in the solicitation. The Government anticipates award of a commercial item contract to the offeror whose offer provides the best value to the Government. The solicitation is scheduled to be issued on or about July 7, 2009 and will be issued via Fed Biz Opps Electronic Posting System at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. Offerors are responsible for checking the web site regularly to obtain amendments. Questions regarding this solicitation must be in writing. They may be sent by email to: arlene.jorgensenhillestad@va.gov. No telephonic inquiries will be accepted. Proposals must be signed and submitted in writing by July 22, 2009 at 4:00 p.m. CST; be in accordance with the solicitation instructions outlined in the solicitation; and be timely. No web based proposals or faxes will be accepted. The NAICS code assigned to this procurement will be 621511 with an size standard of $13.5 million.
