IAW FAR 5.207(c)(12)(ii) - Trade Agreements - One or more of the items under this acquisition is subject to the World Trade Organization Government Procurement Agreement and Free Trade Agreement. NSN 4910014210985RN: Commercial Item Description CID A-A-58048 is for a tire safety cage used for inflating large truck and aircraft tires. The cage is limited in use to tires with a pressure rating of 232 psi. The cage features are in compliance with AFOSH 91-20. The performance requirement described in CID A-A-58048 is that the tire cage shall be a minimum of 32 inches wide, 64 inches long, and 64inches high. The tire inflation cage shall have the capacity to withstand the maximum force that would be transferred to it during a tire wheel separation occurring 150% of the maximum tire specification pressure for the type of wheel being serviced in accordance with AFOSH-STD 91-20, Chapter 8. The cage shall be constructed so as to contain the debris emanated from a wheel tire failure with a maximum force of 348 psi. NSN 4910014210985RN is assigned for authorization & procurement purposes only. No production articles of the item will be shipped under this NSN. Award will be made using a "temporary NSN" pending assignment of the asset NSN. The successful offeror will apply through the PCO for a specific NSN to be assigned to its particular item. iods of 1-8 each.
