Description

This project will be solicited as a 8(a) Small Business Set Aside. Forest Highway (FH) 2 – Mount Rose Highway is located in Washoe County, NV. It is located within the Humboldt- Toiyabe National Forest (HTNF). This route begins near Incline Village, NV at approximately milepost (MP) 8.5 on State Highway 28, continues northeast, and ends at approximate MP 15.7 on NV State Highway 430 for a total length of 24.4 miles. This roadway accommodates two-way traffic in all areas. This project will involve constructing a left turn lane, acceleration/deceleration lanes and associated pavement widening for the Galena Recreation Facilities. The project involves earthwork for the pavement widening, paving, aggregate base, the installation of culverts and a luminaire. The total project length is 2800 feet located at approximate MP 18. The tentative advertisement date is July 30, 2009. The estimated price range is $500, 000 to $2,000,000.00.
