Description
RECOVERY ACT - Contractor shall provide all tools, labor, materials, permits, licnese, equipment, transportation, and qualified supervision necessary to completely prepare site for building operations, including demolition and removal of existing structures for Project No.: 619-08-112 "Upgrade Sprinkler adn Fire Alarm System" for buildings 13 and 14 as specified by drawings and specifications. Work to include, but not limited to upgrading the sprinkler and fire alarm system and other related work. This opportunity is 100 % set-aside for qualified Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses. The NAICS code for the procurement is 236220 Commercial and Institutinal Building Construction with a small business size standard of $33.5M. Performance Period shall be posted in solicitation documents. The estimated dollar amounf of the procurement is between 100,000 and $250,000. The solicitation will be available ON or ABOUT July 23, 2009. Pre-Bid Site Visit is scheduled for August 5, 2009 at 1:30 p.m. Bldg 68 Basement Room Engineering Service. Pre-Bid Site Visit not mandatory but highly recommended. Questions regarding project shall be submitted via email to the Contracting Officer listed in the solicitation. Bidders are advised not to contact the A/E or Technical Representative for the referenced project. It is the responsibility of the bidder to ensure a complete solicitation package is downloaded from the Federal Business Opportunities web site. The date for the bid opening shall be posted in the solicitation. The Government shall make award to the responsible bidder whose bid, conforming to the invitation, will be most advantageous to the Government.
