- This is a sources sought announcement, a market survey for written information only. This is not a solicitation announcement for proposals and no contract will be awarded from this announcement. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement or any follow-up information requests. No telephone calls will be accepted requesting a bid package or solicitation. There is no bid package or solicitation. In order to protect the procurement integrity of any future procurement, if any, that may arise from this announcement, information regarding the technical point of contact will not be given and no appointments for presentations will be made. Naval Facilities Engineering Command Southeast (NAVFACSE) is seeking sources with current relevant qualifications, experience, personnel, equipment, and capability to perform this proposed project at Naval Air Station - Joint Reserve Base (NAS-JRB), New Orleans, LA. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, transportation, materials, supplies, and equipment necessary to perform repairs to existing asphalt pavement, new asphalt pavement, milling of existing asphalt pavement, earthwork for pavements and incidental related work. The work includes cleaning, preparation and application of pavement markings and related work. Contract is for base year and two option years. The project contract amount is between $7,000,000 and $9,500,000. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 237310 with a Small Business Size Standard of $33.5M. Price evaluation preferences for Small Disadvantaged Businesses (SDBs) and HUB-Zone firms are anticipated. Interested sources are invited to respond to this sources sought announcement by providing the following information. 1) Full name and address of interested firm. 2) Statement certifying your business size and if you are a certified 8(a) small disadvantaged business or a HUB-Zone small business, or other small business. 3) Indication of your ability to perform work under NAICS Code 237310. 4) Submit up to of three (3) projects describing the following: 1) Past Experience: Describe projects completed in the last three (3) years that are similar in size, scope, and complexity. Respondents will not be notified of the results of the evaluation. However, NAVFACSE will utilize the information for acquisition planning. All proprietary information not to be disseminated in Government documents must be clearly identified.
