- Description
- The VA Healthcare Network Upstate New York intends to award a sole source contract to National Shooting Sports Foundation. The proposed contract action is to produce and supply educational materials appropriate to teach veterans and veteran family on firearms safety. Educational materials will have comprehensive level of firearm child safety education. Additionally, contractor will supply gun lock mechanisms to VA Medical Centers in the US and its Territories. The contractor is nationally recognized and is approved by US Department of Justice and meets ASTM standards.Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. Information received will be considered solely for determining whether to conduct competitive procurement. All interested parties are requested to give written notification by July 17, 2009, including all pertinent data (descriptive literature, specifications, etc).
