- INDEFINITE QUANTITY ASPHALT PAVING REPAIR, NAVAL AIR STATION, MERIDIAN, MS. Furnish all labor, transportation, materials, equipment, tools, supplies, and supervision necessary for repairs to existing asphalt pavement, new asphalt pavement, milling of existing asphalt pavement, earthwork for pavements, and incidental related work. The work includes cleaning preparation and application of pavement markings and other work as specified. The proposed contract will be an indefinite delivery (IDQ) type contract with a base year and two possible options. There is a minimum guaranteed project associated with this solicitation. Work may be located at NAS Meridian, MS or Joe Williams Outlying Field, Kemper County, Mississippi. Solicitation will be available approximately 17 July 2009 for viewing and downloading at www.neco.navy.mil. Amendments will be posted on the web site for downloading. This will normally be the only method of distributing amendments; therefore, IT IS THE OFFEROR'S RESPONSIBILITY TO CHECK THE WEB SITE PERIODICALLY FOR ANY AMENDMENTS TO THIS SOLICITATION. Technical Inquiries must be submitted in writing 15 days before Bids are Due to 427 Allen Road, NAS Meridian, MS, by fax to 601-679-2147 or by email to jason.e.clayton@navy.mil. THIS SOLICITATION IS BEING ISSUED UNRESTRICTED. Date for receipt of offers is 27 August 2009. The estimated price range is between $1,000,000 and $2,000,000 for base period of performance. The period of contract performance is 365 calendar days with 2 possible options. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS Code for this Solicitation is 237310, Highway and Street Construction. The associated Small Business size standard is $33.5 million.
