- Description
- Arcata Associates, Inc. (Arcata/UNITeS) performing under NASA Prime ContractNNM04AA02C, intends to acquire on an open and competitive basis, new COTS MPEG-4 HighDefinition Encoders/decoders with/options in support of the NASA Multi-channel Digital TVSystem. It is intended under this pending solicitation to acquire the required equipmentand software licensing w/1 year of warranty support, documentation, training and allnecessary support services in accordance with the Technical Specification as attached v.2dated 16 June 2009.Arcata/UNITeS intends to acquire commercial goods and services using FAR Part 12. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, as proposals are being requested perthe attached Request for Proposal (RFP) and Technical Specification which are located inthe attached WORD files. Interested firms have until the close of business 4:00 PM, 29July 2009 to submit their proposals to the identified point of contact. Business and/orTechnical questions regarding this acquisition must be submitted in writing (e-mailpreferred) no later than 17 July 2009. It is the offeror's responsibilities to monitor this Internet site for the release of anyamendments and/or clarifying questions and answers.
