- Frequently Asked Questions The Request for Proposal is posted for a commercial acquisition using simplified acquisition procedures (Reference FAR Parts 12 and 13). The Air Force Security Assistance Center (AFSAC) has a requirement for facilities management support services. The proposed contract is set-aside for HUBZone small business concerns. Offers from other than HUBZone small business concerns will not be considered. This service will be conducted at Wright-Patterson AFB OH. Period of performance is twelve (12) months. Two 12-month options may be awarded. The government intends to make a single award to the offeror that represents the best overall value considering price and past performance. Solicitation No. FA8630-09-R-5087 is issued as a Request for Proposal. It is advertised with a North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code of 561210. The solicitation is posted electronically as of 30 Jun 09 at www.fbo.gov. NO HARD COPIES OF THE SOLICITATION WILL BE ISSUED FOR ANY REASON. Proposal receipt date is 17 Jul 09. All parties interested in a walk-thru of the facilities must contact Ken Scott at 937-654-8491. During these walk-thrus, no contracting issues or questions will be entertained. Offerors have until noon on 10 Jul 09 to submit questions. No further questions will be accepted after that time/date. To ensure adequate time for offerors to schedule walk-thrus, the proposal receipt date has been extended to noon on 17 Jul 09. No further extensions will be given.
