Description
This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at http://ww.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Naval Systems Command. NUWCDIV Newport intends to place a firm fixed price offer with Huntron Instruments, Mill Creek, WA for the following: 1 ea. P/N 99-0406 Rev. B; Access 2 NFSA.03 - 3.0 GHZ & ASA Probing Station, configured for fault determination of High Frequency Electronic Circuits; range is.03 to 3.0 GHz. Has one camera for top down viewing, accuracy +/- 20 microns. Includes: standard 1 year warranty, NFSA Probe, Worstation S/W with first year maintenance cotnract, CD manual, power cord, test leads, PCA support Kit, coross bar w/locks, slide bar and extension, board spacers, probe kit, 24" BNC cables, USB cable, NI Vision Run-Time License, tool kit. 2. P/N 98-0538; 1 Lot Technical support services including set-up, training and on-going support. Delivery to NUWC within 8 weeks. The basis for the sole source is that Huntron product ensures the ease of integration of controlling software into the existing Module Test and Repair software suite. Alsos, Huntron is the only firm which can provide the combined factors of the RF probe mounted on a precise positioning armature with the ability to recall those positions. The proposed action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source using SAP and commercial item procedures as set forth in FAR Parts 12 and 13. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received by the closing date will be considered by the Government. A determination not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
