Description
Draft Statement of Work Resources Protection/Crime Prevention Theory, Practice and Management Course The Air Force is publishing a Sources Sought Synopsis. There is no solicitation available at this time. Requests for a solicitation will not receive a response. The purpose of this Sources Sought is to determine if there are any businesses available who are capable of performing the effort described herein. The Air Force Security Force Center at Wright-Patterson AFB, OH is seeking sources to: Prepare and teach two sessions of Security Forces course, WCIP07A, a Resource Protection/Crime Prevention Course to prepare person already proficient in the security forces field for the role of a crime prevention and resources protection program manager. Conduct courses twice a year at time negotiated between the contractor and government. Work site at contractor's facility. The contractor provides housing for 50 students per year - 25 per class. Provide each student with a private bedroom and private bathroom as a minimum. Furnish rooms with a study desk, chair, bed, dresser, and study lamp as minimum. The contractor provides a dining facility for all course participants. An established facility on the contractor's site is acceptable. Identify available nearby (within walking distance) commercial dining facilities. The contractor provides student transportation to and from airport and housing when housing accommodations are not at the contractor site. This is a SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS. THRE IS NO SOLICITATION AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME. REQUEST FOR A SOLICITAITON WILL NOT RECEIVE A REPONSE. This is in support of market research being conducted by ASC to identify capable potential sources. Company Information to include: a. Points of contact, addresses, email addresses, phone numbers b. Identification as a large U.S. business, small U.S. business, or a foreign business. 2. A summary of your related capabilities information based upon the Contractor Requirements required below. It should be brief and concise, yet clearly demonstrate your abilities to meet the stated requirements including company CAGE Code or DUNS Number, business size and description of relevant contract experience with Government or commercial customers. Limit responses to a total page limit of 5-7pages. 3. Address your approach to how the course would be provided as requested above as well as a total cost to the government quote. 4. Provide no more than five contract history matrices for any contract relevant to this effort. (Include information ONLY for work within the last three years) For all current or past contracts deemed relevant, provide the following administrative reference information. (There is no page limit for this requirement.) a. Company/Division Name b. Program Title c. Contracting Agency d. Contract Number e. A brief description of the contract effort, indicating whether it was development and/or production f. Type of Contract g. Delivery Date h. Original Contract & Value and Current Contract & Value i. Name, address and telephone number of Government Program Director/Manager, Administrative Contracting Officer (ACO) and Procuring Contracting Officer (PCO). 5. Any other information you think we need to evaluate your capabilities. Submitted information shall be UNCLASSIFIED. The Government is contemplating a period of performance for this contract 01 Oct 09 - 30 Sep 10 with four option period of one year each. The applicable North American Industry Classification System code is 611430. Any information submitted by respondents to this synopsis is strictly voluntary. The Government will not reimburse the respondents for any costs associated with their response. This synopsis does not constitute a Request for Proposals nor does its issuance restrict the Government as to its ultimate acquisition approach. The Government reserves the right to contact the submitting parties, on an as required basis, for further clarification on material provided. All responses are due no later than 4:00 PM (EST), 24 July 2009.
