- Technical Evaluation Criteria for Audit Training Statement of Work for Audit Training This is a Request for Quotation prepared in accordance with FAR Part 13, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. A quote is being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Requirement number 752-9-3359-48 is issued as a Request for Quotation. The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), Medicaid Integrity Group (MIG) has a requirement for a contractor to provide audit training onsite at the Baltimore Central Office. The period of performance will be August 17, 2009 through September 29, 2009. The anticipated training is to take place September 14 -18, 2009. The contractor shall provide all necessary materials for the successful operation of the training. The attached Statement of Work entitled, "Statement of Work for Division of Field Operations Basic Government Auditing Course" provides detail information concerning the requirement and what the contractor is expected to accomplish to meet CMS's needs. This will be a firm fixed price procurement using simplified acquisition procedures. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAIC) is 541611. A purchase order will be awarded within 10 days after the response due date. Your response must be mailed in paper form to Phillip Harrell or Louis Anderson, Department of Health and Human Services, Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, Office of Acquisition and Grants Management, 7500 Security Blvd, C2-21-15, Baltimore, MD 21244 and electronically in MS Word format to phillip.harrell@cms.hhs.gov no later than 11:00am on July 24, 2009. For the purpose of establishing timely receipt of a quotation, the time will be established based upon the hard copy submission. Responses shall be no more than 10 pages and should include the following: 1) Contractors capabilities overview; 2) Past performance information (relevant experience to perform the required services); and 3) Price of the deliverables. Your response will be evaluated on a best value basis using the following evaluation criteria: 1) Technical and Management Approach - the likelihood of effectively meeting requirements; 2) Past performance - the relevance and quality of prior performance; and 3) Price - the amount, realism and consistency of the evaluated price. The Government intends to award an order to the responsible offeror whose quotation offers the best combination of technical capabilities and proposed price. All contractors are hereby advised that contractors shall be registered in the Central Contractor Registry (CCR). Please register with the CCR at the following website: http://www.ccr.gov.
