- RECOVERY: PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE FOR THE MEDICINE LODGE SHEEP FENCES. This procurement is being funded via the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA). The work consists of furnishing labor, equipment, and supplies to modify existing sheep range fences and associated gates, and panels. Work will be to remove woven wire net fencing and replace with barbed and barbless wire. Project price range is between $25,000 and $100,000. NAICS: 237990. The project site is located in the Medicine Lodge area, Clark County, west of Dubois, Idaho. Performance time is Schedule A - 21 calendar days; Schedule B - 10 calendar days; Schedule C - 10 calendar days; Schedule D - 10 calendar days. In accordance with FAR 28.102-1, a 100% Payment Bond is required for contracts greater than $30,000, prior to issuance of the Notice to Proceed. This solicitation will be posted electronically at www.FedConnect.net. Paper copies are no longer available. Estimated issue date is July 22, 2009. All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered. Full or partial funding for requirements to be completed by resultant contract award(s) may utilize funds provided by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009. Inclusion of unique provisions required to implement the Act, including those for significant reporting and transparency requirements by the successful offeror(s), will be required in any resultant contract. The Awardee will be subject to Section 1512(c) of the Recovery Act which requires each contractor to report on its use of Recovery Act funds under the awarded contract. These reports will be made available to the public.
