With Color Touch Screen Flat Panel Display.3 Mass & Metal Seals options. Fully Automactic Start-up & Cycle, Auto calibration, Automactic Floating AutoZero function,Digital leak rate display, 10-12ATM CC/secSensitivity, 16 CFM roughing module, with MDP 5011& ACP 28 Multi-stage roots. (16CFM ATM thru 10-6)Leak Detector is fully protected against atmospheric air in,rush, and can be moved operated in full test mode, 110/130V 50/60 Hz.ITEM #2:Part#:053146Quantity: 2Description: Spare FilamentsITEM #3Part#: 106688Description: Optional Remote Control ASM 182 TD+*****END OF SPECIFICATIONS****NASA/GSFC intends to purchase the items from Alcatel Vacuum Products. It is ourunderstanding that Alcatel Vacuum Products is the only vendor that can provide technicalenhancement and technical support for a Leak Detector.The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12.The authority isFAR 13.106(b)(1) only one source reasonably available. Questions regarding this acquisition must be directed to the attention of Kimber Russellvia e-mail at Kimber.R.Russell@nasa.gov or via facsimile at (301) 286-9159 by 12pm EST,07/13/2009.Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform theeffort in writing to the identified point of contact not later than 12:00pm EST on07/17/2009. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose ofdetermining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. It is thequoter's responsibility to monitor this site for the release of amendments.
