This IFB is for Hollywood Reservoir Lakeridge Drive Landslide and Slope Restoration Emergency Watershed Project. Major items of construction are Fill for slides, 38,181 CY; Site clearing and structures removal, Lump Sum; Auger 18, 24-36 inch diameter pilot holes, 648 LF; 48 inch diameter, cast-in-drill-hole reinforced concrete piles, 1192 LF; 60 inch diameter, cast-in-drill-hole reinforced concrete piles, 504 LF; Excavation support and protection, Lump Sum; 6 inch diameter, French drain and perforated PVC pipe, 929 LF; and 4 inch diameter, French drain and perforated PVC pipe, 1662 LF. The period of performance is 142 calendar days from receipt of notice to proceed. Bids are due 7/28/2009 by 3:00 p.m., local time at the Davis office. A site visit is scheduled for 7/9/09 at 1:00 pm local time. Directions to the site visit meeting are: from US 101 South toward Los Angeles take Exit 11 (Barham Blvd. toward Barham Blvd. (0.1 mile); turn left onto Cahuenga Blvd. west (0.1 mile); turn left onto Barham Blvd. (0.3 mile); turn right onto Lake Hollywood Dr. (0.1 mile); turn left onto Primera Ave (0.0 mile); turn slight right onto La Suvida Dr. (0.1 mile); La Suvida Dr. becomes Lake Hollywood Dr. (0.2 mile); turn right to stay on Lake Hollywood Dr. (0.3 mile); end at Lake Hollywood Dr. & Montlake Dr.; from US 101 North toward Harbor Freeway take Exit 11A (Barham Blvd.) toward Barham Blvd./Burbank (0.1 mile); stay straight to go onto Cahuenga Blvd. East (0.5 mile); turn right onto Barham Blvd. (0.3 mile); turn right onto Lake Hollywood Dr. (0.1 mile); turn left onto Primera Ave. (0.0 mile); turn slight right onto La Suvida Dr. (0.1 mile); La Suvida Dr. becomes Lake Hollywood Dr. (0.2 mile); turn right to stay on Lake Hollywood Dr. (0.3 mile); end at Lake Hollywood Dr. & Montlake Dr. The estimated price range for this work is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000.
