- Specifications The USDA Forest Service, Inyo National Forest has a requirement for routed and painted wooden signs. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This Solicitation identified as RFQ AG-9A63-S-09-0099 is a Request for Quotations. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, quotes are being requested and no written solicitation will be issued. The NAICS code is 339950 Sign Manufacturing. This solicitation will be a small business set-aside. The size requirements for this NAIC is $500K. This solicitation is for a firm fixed price contract. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2005-33. Quantity 4 Each FE – 5 Entering Inyo National Forest Quantity 4 Each FL – 5 Leaving Inyo National Forest Quantity 2 Each FE – 7 Entering Inyo National Forest Quantity 2 Each FL – 7 Leaving Inyo National Forest Each sign is to be constructed out of Western Red Cedar, routed and painted. Routed letters to be painted yellow-cream (#23695), background to be painted brown (#20059). Specifications on sign design and size attached. DELIVERY LOCATION: USDA Forest Service White Mountain Ranger District 798 North Main Street Bishop, CA 93514 CONTACT: Mr. Greg Smith, USDA Forest Service, 760-873-2436, gsmith02@fs.fed.us DELIVERY TIME FRAME: Delivery 30 to 45 days after receipt of order. Call contact 24 to 48 hours in advance of delivery. SUBMISSION OF QUOTES: Offerors shall submit quotes to the office specified in this Solicitation on or before the exact time specified in the Solicitation. As a minimum, quotes shall show: (1) Solicitation No.; (2) name and address of offeror on company business letterhead or form, no later than close of business July 17, 2009. (3) Address quote to Attn: Peggy Scott, Purchasing Agent, USDA Forest Service, 631 Coyote St., Nevada City, CA 95959 or Fax Quotes to: (530) 478-6126, telephone (530) 478-6123; (4) price per sign including any delivery charges, (5) delivery time upon receipt of order, (6) remit to address, if different than mailing address; (7) DUN AND BRADSTREET NUMBER to verify Central Contractor Registration http://www.ccr.gov ; (8) Tax Identification Number; (9) completed ORCA registration, http://www.bpn.gov OR completed copy of the Representations and Certifications at FAR 52.212-3; and (10) acknowledgement of any Solicitation amendments. EVALUATION: Quotes shall be evaluated (1) Do the signs meet or exceed the specifications. It is the contractor’s responsibility to provide enough information for the government to make a determination as to whether it meets/exceeds specification. The information can be internet sites, specification sheets, and/or brochures.
