- Description
- This procurement is for the repairs to nine bunkers located on the Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base in Fort Worth Texas and is the result of two previous design awards. One project is to repair bunkers 4243, 4245, and 4246 located on NAS JRB Fort Worth. The other project is to repair bunkers 4237 to 4242 located on NAS JRB Fort Worth. The repairs for bunkers 4237 to 4242 includes minor site work, CMU infill, coiling overhead doors, shelving, electrical, lighting, and incidental related work.The repairs for bunkers 4243, 4245, and 4246 includes minor site work and demolition, new doors, replace door hardware, CMU partitions, coiling overhead doors, painting, ceramic tile replacement, mechanical, electrical, lighting, and incidental related work. This acquisition to support the Navy mission was awarded sole source to an 8(a) certified firm in accordance with the Small Business Act, Section 8(a), (15 U.S.C. 637(a)) Business Development Program. Per FAR 6.302-5 a J&A is not required for this award.
