- This project is set-aside for Service Disable Veteran Owned Small Business in accordance with FAR 19.405. The NAICS Code is 238170 and the Small Business Size Standard is $14 Million. The solicitation will be available at http://ideasec.nbc.gov on July 27, 2009. PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED AND TELEPHONE REQUESTS OR FAX REQUESTS FOR THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Solicitation Number: Q1774090400. Description: The National Park Service is seeking a qualified contractor to perform work for this contract which consists of the general construction of installing aluminum soffit to the Canarsie Pier Visitor Center. The construction of the soffit include new light weight steel joists (16 gauge) support grid, carriage support, aluminum soffit panels, aluminum filler panels for the semi-circular roof openings and trim. All aluminum soffit panels and trim are to match existing color scheme. All touch-up paint is to be provided by the aluminum soffit manufacturer and is to match color. LOCATION: Canarsie Pier Visitor Center is located on the north side of the Gateway National Recreation Area, Jamaica Bay Unit, Floyd Bennet Field, Brooklyn, NY 11234. Contract duration is 30 days following notice to proceed. In accordance with FAR Subpart 36.204, the price range for this contract is between $25,000 and $100,000. This procurement is a Request for Quote (RFQ) and is subject to the provisions of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Parts 13 and 15. An organized site visit will be scheduled. Responses are due no later than 4:30 PM on Agust 27, 2009. Search by referencing the solicitation number (above), Department of the Interior, National Park Service.
