- Description
- The United States of America, Broadcasting Board of Governors (BBG), International Broadcasting Bureau (IBB) has a requirement for buildings and grounds/facility services to support the operations and maintenance of its Transmitting Station facilities in the Democratic Republic of São Tomé Príncipe, West Africa. The Contractor shall be required to provide skilled and unskilled labor to perform: (1) buildings and grounds maintenance services; (2) specialty trades services (e.g., antenna tower rigging/repair); and (3) transportation (driver) services. The Contractor shall be required to provide the above services on both a scheduled basis and an emergency basis. The evaluation factors for award will be included in the forthcoming RFP document. The period of performance will be for one base year, with options for 4 additional one-year option periods. The annual estimated price of services required is between $100,000.00-250,000.00. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 561210 - Facilities Support Services and the small business size standard is $32.5M. Contractors shall comply with local licensure and worker's compensation insurance requirements for tradesmen. All written responses (technical and price proposals) to the forthcoming solicitation shall be sent to Mr. Ken Tripp, Station Manager, São Tomé Transmitting Station, International Broadcasting Bureau, Democratic Republic of São Tomé Príncipe, West Africa.
