AMENDMENT NOTICE: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, in conjunction with FAR 13.5, as applicable, and as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; bids are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is W91CQ29168KIOS and is issued as an invitation for bids (IFB), unless otherwise indicated herein. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2005-31. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 334111 with a small business size standard of 1,000.00 employees. This requirement is a [ Small Business ] set-aside and only qualified offerors may submit bids. The solicitation pricing on www.FedBid.com will start on the date this solicitation is posted and will end on 2009-07-16 11:00:00.0 Eastern Time or as otherwise displayed at www.FedBid.com. The Visitor Check-In Software asks thevisitor for their information and runs them though a few simple questions. The answers to these questions allow the kiosk todetermine which Department to send the user to.When the user finishes answering the questions, the kiosk notifies the correct department that they have a new visitor waiting in thelobby. If the primary counselor is busy, and stays busy for more than a few minutes, the kiosk notifies a secondary counselor. Ifboth the primary and secondary counselors stay busy for too long, the kiosk informs the "chief" that is assigned to the nonrespondingcounselors.The check-in interface is a web-style application. The department administrators need only have a web browser open to the checkinapplication. All questions asked by the kiosk and the logic determining department assignments are dynamic and can bechanged in the administrative interface. Additionally, the administrative interface shows a number of statistics, such as the average., 2, EA; LI 003, CUSTOMER CONTENT DEVELOPMENT: Customer graphics & display templates. Custom main menu, templates & stylesheets; customer "attract loop" graphics (3 each); custom interface links; user friendly selections with direct links to selected pages on Client-specified internet and/or intranet pages; content coordination; obtain graphic artwork and image files; advise client on requirements for Client-supplied content; review and submit content display proofs., 35, HOURS; LI 004, PROJECT/PROGRAM DEVELOPMENT: Highly qualified team member will execute program oversight for kiosk deployment. Oversight will include requirements gathering and evaluation of affected customer service organizations in order to support robust utilization of the kiosks. This will ensure optimum customer support for the information needs of kiosk users. Requirements gathering and data evaluation may result in the development of additional features that effectively support kiosk capabilities and ensure project success., 40, HOURS; LI 005, ON SITE INSTALLATION AND TRAINING:Includes travel related expenses & services to unpack & position the kiosk, connect all cables, validate unit is operational, diagnostic troubleshooting and preventive maintenance, plus professional instruction on the day-to-day upkeep and operation of the kiosk, including how to clean the touchscreen, how to change the printer paper and toner cartridge, how to retrieve usge statistics data, how to submit content change requests; any number of customer personnel can be trained., 1, LOT; LI 006, POST INSTALLATION PROFESSIONAL SERVICES:Includes any combination of professional services during warranty period, including but not limited to: making changes to mainmenu, templates and/or stylesheets as requested; creating new screen savers, graphics, maps, html display pages, etc.; adding new links/buttons to provide access to new videos and/or other display content; adding new internet and/or intranet links/buttons, integrate into display content; preparing customized kiosk usage statistics reports or customer survey response reports., 10, HOURS; LI 007, SERVICES AND SUPPORT PACKAGE:Two year On-site service and support package, 1, PACKAGE; For this solicitation, US ACA FT Lee intends to conduct an online competitive reverse auction to be facilitated by the third-party reverse auction provider, FedBid, Inc. FedBid has developed an online, anonymous, browser based application to conduct the reverse auction. An Offeror may submit a series of pricing bids, which descend in price during the specified period of time for the aforementioned reverse auction. US ACA FT Lee is taking this action in an effort to improve both vendor access and awareness of requests and the agency's ability to gather multiple, competed, real-time bids. All responsible Offerors that respond to this solicitation MUST submit the pricing portion of their bid using the online exchange located at www.FedBid.com. There is no cost to register, review procurement data or make a bid on www.FedBid.com. Offerors that are not currently registered to use www.FedBid.com should proceed to www.FedBid.com to complete their free registration.
