Description: RECOVERY. THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. This project is funded through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009. A firm fixed priced task order was awarded to Perkins + Will of Atlanta, Georgia, under contract AG-3K15-C-08-0016 for architectural and engineering (A-E) services. The task order is for an investigative report to address replacement of boilers, electrical and steam distribution system serving campus research facilities at Beltsville Area Research Center steam distribution systems at Beltsville, Maryland This task order is to be issued under an existing indefinite quantity contract for A-E Services. The contract was competed in accordance with the Brooks Act and FAR 36.6 Architectural and Engineering (A-E) services. The selection of Perkins + Will, Inc. was based upon criteria which included the following: overall technical expertise, specialized technical knowledge, specialized knowledge of the location where the work will be performed, and an internal analysis of costs.
