- CALL FOR PAPERS for 2009 C2ISR Symposium (28-30 Sep 09)Theme: "Leaning" C2ISR: Exploring the Operations Center of the Future REQUEST FOR PRESENTERS: We are seeking Industry Presenters to address "Problem Statements" centered on the theme of "Leaning C2ISR : Exploring the Operations Center of the Future". We want to stimulate discussion that leads to actionable ideas for immediate and near-term use in Acquisition Programs. Appropriate Ideas, for example, can include processes or particular solutions. We are looking for White Papers and Presentations that discuss these ideas. All Submittals should be directed toward useful improvement of the Acquisition Process as well as stimulating ideas for future growth. In order to focus ideas, we have created a series of "Problem Statements" that affect our current processes of C2ISR acquisition. Each Problem statement has "Sub-Statements" to present the context of the original problem statement. Appropriate White Paper Submittals should address one or more of these "Problem Statements". Problem Statements are available on request from Maj O'Connor; please e-mail Maj O'Connor: william.oconnor@hanscom.af.mil REQUIREMENTS FOR WHITE PAPERS:If you wish to address any of the problem statements, please submit the following by COB (EDT) 23 July 2009, to Ron Adams, ronald.m.adams@saic.com. - Author Biography- Curriculum Vitae- White Paper (5 pages maximum)Address at least the following:- Topic area- Proposed 'Way Forward' - or, actionable items.- Benefits- RisksPlease Use language, structure, and terminology accessible to technology leaders and managers - not all the symposium attendees are fluent in specific technologies. PLEASE NOTE: All submissions should be able to be made 'blind'/have any identifying information (name, company, locations) redacted so that reviewers can review and select appropriate papers without possible bias. If you'd like to submit a redacted version along with the complete paper, please do so. The following information should be included with all submittals. More than one paper can be submitted by the same individual, on different topics.- Name- Organization- Contact information (Phone and Email) Final Decision will try to be made by 31 July 09. If selected, you will need to submit by 20 Aug 09 your proposed Power Point Presentation. Public releaseability of the presentation will be assumed.
