- The purpose of this announcement is to provide notice that the National Park Service will release solicitation number Q9500090051 on or about 3 August 2009 that will result in a contract to demolish two structures at the Glines Canyon Dam Site in Olympic National Park and other optional demolition work in the Lake Crescent Area of the park. Work shall consist of, but not be limited to (a) removal and disposal in an appropriate landfill of lead base paint covered siding, window casings, and trim, asbestos-containing flooring, caulking, and other materials; (b) demolition and disposal in an appropriate landfill of a wood frame residence, a large shed, and other option items and (c) site cleanup and contouring of foundation excavations. The contractor shall be responsible for securing all permits to accomplish this project. Copies of permits and disposal documentation will be submitted to the NPS. The vendor will be required to supply documentation of appropriate certification of all workers prior to commencing work. The full scope of the anticipated contract will be included in the solicitation. The period of performance is 60 days. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 238910 and the annual size standard is $14 million. An organized site visit and pre-bid meeting will be scheduled for this project. This action is a 100 percent HUBzone small business set-aside. A firm fixed-price contract will be awarded to the responsible offeror whose proposal conforms to the solicitation and is considered most advantageous to the government using performance-price trade-off procedures of Parts 12 and 13.
