- Description
- The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI),has a need for a formalizied series of Leadership Training Courses/Certificate Program. for the Washington Field Office (WFO). The courses shall address skills necessary to maximize leadership potential of FBI supervisory support staff as well as provide new and current leadership skills. The FBI intends to offer contract award as a Sole Source to George Mason University, Office of Continuing Professional Education, 2214 Rock Hill Road, Suite 400;n, Va 20170. The contractor tasks shall include but not be limited to the following. (1) The contractor shall design a unique one-of-a kind leadership development certificate program tailored to the specific needs and challenges of FBI professional support supervisors. (2) The contractor shall assist in skills to be developed including team writing, conflict management, coaching employees,and communications and interpersonal awareness. (3) The contractor shall provide coursework for Continuing Education Unit's(CEU) that is a nationally recognized unit of measurement participation in non-credit continuing education programs for successful completion and certification at the end of successful completion of all four courses. (4) The contractor shall provide courses that shall be comprised of a mix of lecture, individual work, and small group interaction. (5) The contractor shall provide training led by individuals who have obtained at least a masters degree or PH.D and are subject matter and industry practitioners, having worked in government (federal, state, or local), private industry and academia. (6)The contractor shall provide class instruction for four courses; each session 6.5. (7) The contractor shall provide a permanent Mason Registrar record option for students who successfully complete the Mason-sponsored non-credit learning activities. Student records will include the name, course, and number of CEUs awarded. Students may request an official non-credit student record through Mason's Registrar Office. (8) The contractor shall provide a Certificate of Completion that shall be awarded to students who complete all four courses in the Supervisory Targeted Enrichment Program. (9 The OCPE Contracting Training Coordinator shall provide a written summary of attendee evaluations following each course in the series. In addition, throughout the program, the coordinator and/or OCPE staff will be available to ensure that WFO objectives and expectations are being met. This type of contract shall be a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Fixed Price. The primary place of performance will be at the Washington Field Office (WFO). in the Washington Metropolitan D. C. area. The NAICS code is 611310 and the business size standard is $6.5 million in annual receipts. Telephone requests will not be honored.
