Description

Signed CICA for Tower on Yakima Ridge, near Yakima, WA This Lease is for placement of a weather radio stationthat is required for the National Weather Service (NWS) in support of NOAA's Weather Radio (NWR) Emergency Alert System to provide direct warnings into private homes for both natural disasters, and nuclear attack. These radio stations are located throughout the Country and the State of Washington to provide the maximum signal coverage to citizens. This Lease action is for a succeeding lease on a 299' tower on Yakima Ridge for placement of a PD220 antenna with a center mounting point of 75' above ground level and for use of 40sf of space in a climate controled building at the base of the tower for placement of an Armstrong G300 Transmitter, transmitting on 162.5 mHZ. This tower site provides the maximum coverage in the Yakima area.
