Description: Pre-solicitation Notice W9127S-09-B-0028: This solicitation will be advertised as unrestricted under the Small Business Competiveness Demonstration Program. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code is 561710(Exterminating and Pest Control Services). The small business size standard is $7 million. The solicitation is for a firm fixed priced commercial performance based service contract to provide herbicide application services within the area of responsibility of the Greers Ferry Project Office, Heber Springs, Arkansas. The proposed contract will be issued for a base period of 1 September 2009 through 31 August 2010 and two annual option periods. Solicitation will be issued as an Invitation For Bid (IFB) utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures per FAR 13.5. This solicitation will be issued via Internet only at the Armys Single Face to Industry Website (ASFI) on or about July 31, 2009. It is each offerors responsibility to download the solicitation from the internet website. No paper copies will be provided. Notification of amendments shall be made via the Internet as well. It is therefore the contractors responsibility to check the ASFI website daily for any posted changes to this solicitation.
