Description

THIS IS A NOTICE OF I NTENT, NOT A REQUEST FOR A QUOTE. A SOLICITATION DOCUMENT WILL NOT BE ISSUED AND QUOTES WILL NOT BE REQUESTED. The National Institutes of Health (NIH) intends to negotiate under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.106-1 (b) sole source with ILLumina, Inc. 9885 Towne Centre Drive San Diego CA 92121-1975 for the purchase of HumanOmni-Quad DNA analysis kits. The products are proprietary and must be purchased from ILLumina. The products are commercial as defined in FAR part 2. the total contracted dollar amount willnot exceed the Simplified Acquisition Threshold. The North American Classification System Code is 334516. Again, this is a notice of intnet and no solicitation exists for this notice. The Government will not be responsible for any cost incurred in proposal preparation. Telephone request will not be honored. The Government intends to issue a firm-fixed price purchase order with ILLumina after the expiration of this notice.
