- Description
- Strategic Systems Programs intends to issue a competitive solicitation for a base (FY 2010) plus five option years (through FY 2014) for budget and financial management support services associated with TRIDENT II D5 Missile system program. The resulting contract will also include a provision which gives the Government the option to increase the level of effort up to thirty percent (30%) over the level of effort provided for in the contract. Performance is scheduled to begin on or before 04 January 2010 and continue for one year, with five one-year option periods. To be eligible for award, an offeror must have a SECRET facility clearance at time of proposal submission. At the time of contract award, the offeror must possess all of the means necessary for storing, hosting, and maintaining all of the specialized applications and databases cited in the statement of work. The solicitation (N00030-10-R-0012) will be posted to the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps.gov) website on or 10 days after publication of this synopsis. This procurement will be a 100% set aside for a competitive 8(a) acquisition in accordance with FAR 19.805. The Government anticipates that one (1) Firm-Fixed Price Level-of-Effort contract will be awarded for twelve months base period in FY10, with four (4) additional twelve (12) months options extending through FY 2014. Procedures in FAR Part 12 Commercial Items (Services), FAR Part 15 Contracting by Negotiation, and SSP policies will be followed in selection of the successful offeror from the pool of eligible 8(a) firms that submit responsive proposals. This notice in not a request for proposals and in no way obligates the Government to award any contract. All questions concerning this competition must be directed in writing via email to the designated point of contact or by facsimile to 703-601-9473. No questions or inquiries will be accepted by telephone. The distribution of the resulting solicitation will be accomplished solely through the FedBizOpps website http://www.fbo.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation documents will not be available, therefore no written, telephone, or facsimile requests for the documents will be accepted. The FedBizOpps site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including the solicitation and any amendments, will be distributed solely through the FedBizOpps site.
