- Description
- The Roseburg District Office of the Bureau of Land Management requires the labor, equipment, supplies, and materials for the removal and repair of damaged asphalt paving, the extension of asphalt areas, the placement of aggregate base and shoulder rock, the grinding of stumps, and the application of a slurry seal mix. Work under this contract is located in Douglas County, Oregon, and specific work locations will be displayed on the drawings posted with the solicitation. Interested vendors may access sites from Roseburg, Oregon by traveling East on OR-138 Highway approximately 22 miles to County Road 78 (Rock Creek Road), turning North on Rock Creek and proceeding approximately 5 miles to the Millpond Campground. In order to reach the Rock Creek Campground, interested vendors must continue on Rock Creek Road for approximately 1.5 miles. Work will also include some excavation. Work will be performed under NAICS Code: 115310 Support Activities for Forestry. This solicitation will be available on or before August 8, 2009, and the project price range is between $25,000 and $100,000. Work is estimated to start on September 15, 2009 with an estimated performance period of 45 calendar days. This solicitation is set aside for small business. Bonds are required - Bid Bond: None; Performance Bond: 20%; and Payment Bond: 100%. Responsible sources are encouraged to submit a quote which will be considered by the agency.
