REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) for AiT Town Center Outdoor Pavilion, Sheppard Air Force Base, Wichita Falls TX THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS ANNOUNCEMENT; A MARKET SURVEY FOR INFORMATION ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. CURRENTLY THERE IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR THIS REQUIREMENT. PLEASE MONITOR THE FEDERAL BUSINESS OPPURTUNITIES WEBSITE FOR THE POSTING OF A PRESOLICITATION NOTICE IF THE REQUIREMENT IS STILL NEEDED BY THE GOVERNMENT. NO REIMBURSEMENT WILL BE MADE FOR ANY COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH PROVIDING INFORMATION IN RESPONSE TO THIS SYNOPSIS OR ANY FOLLOW-UP INFORMATION REQUESTS. THE PURPOSE OF THIS SYNOPSIS IS TO GAIN MARKETPLACE POTENTIAL AND POTENTIALLY QUALIFIED SMALL BUSINESSES. 1.0 SUBJECT/GENERAL INFORMATION The 82 Contracting Squadron, Sheppard Air Force Base Wichita Falls TX is seeking potential sources and market information for the construction of a COMMERCIAL OUTDOOR PAVILION to support the Airmen in Training (AiT) of the 82nd Training Wing on Sheppard Air Force Base. The pavilion will be a multifunctional facility and center piece of a new town plaza development designed for Sheppard Air Force Base. The 82nd Training Wing mission is to provide specialized technical training, medical and field training for officers, enlisted and civilians of all branches of the military including the Air Force Reserves, Air National Guard, other DoD agencies and foreign nationals. Courses, resident and nonresident, exceed 1,100. More than 87,000 people graduate from basic and advanced courses ranging from pharmacy to power production, aircraft maintenance to budget and data systems each year. The wing also supports undergraduate pilot training as well as flying training to students from 13 NATO nations through the 80th Flying Training Wing. 2.0 DESCRIPTION/REQUIREMENTS Minimum requirements for the outdoor pavilion are as follows: Outdoor Pavilion: -Approx. 100' X 72' 2-cone, irregular shape, tensile structure -Structural steel framing -PRFE Fabric with a Class A fire rating and 25+ year life span, color: desert sand -Galvanized cables -High performance epoxy paint on steel Concrete Slab: -125' X 100' concrete slab -30' X 15' X 18" Stage with 4' high back walls, ADA ramp entrance on back, two stair entrances on sides -Electrical and data hook-ups in stage and throughout slab to accommodate pavilion 3.0 Additional Info: Please specify the following when submitting information: -Type of Warranties Offered -Type of Material -Approximate Timeline for Manufacturing, Delivery and Installation -Rough Order of Magnitude for Pricing -Wind Load Thresholds Offered for Local Area -Snow Load Thresholds for Local Area -Ice Load Thresholds for Local Area Please submit any and all concepts, ideas, specifications and drawings that you think would be beneficial for government consideration on this project. It's preferable if you include pictures or specifications of prior projects that you consider appropriate for this sources sought synopsis. Please provide a clear indication as to whether or not your company can provide items meeting the specifications listed above.
