- Attachment II - Solicitation Provisions and Contract Clauses Attachment I - Minimum Technical Specifications Combined Synopsis/Solicitation #MC-EFS-SV-09-0005-1 Digital Multifunction Copier/Printer with Maintenance Program This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in the notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) has a requirement for four (4) B&W and Color Digital Multifunction Copier/Printers and Full Service Annual Maintenance Plan as described herein. This requirement is being competed on a Brand Name or Equal Basis. The required item is listed as a Sharp MX-2300N Digital Multifunctional Copier/Printer. However, the Government shall consider proposals that contain the products of any manufacture provided that they meet or exceed the technical capabilities of the Sharp MX-2300N as described in Attachment #1 ( Minimum Technical Specifications). Submissions should be in accordance with the following stipulations: 1. Proposals shall be based on open market pricing. 2. Proposals shall include your price for the annual maintenance agreement for all four systems. 3. Your quotation shall include equipment delivery, installation, testing and training. The items will be shipped to four different locations to include the following: a. Washington, DC 20006 b. Glastonbury, CT 06033 c. East Providence, RI 02914 d. New York City, NY 10004 4. Items shall be delivered within 15 days after receipt of order. 5. Proposals received will be evaluated for the purpose of establishing a purchase order for these items. The period of performance will be for one year from the date of award. Your quotations shall be on a firm fixed price basis. 6. Award shall be made to the offeror that submits the Lowest Prices Technically Acceptable. The technical requirements are detailed in Attachment 1. 7. All questions shall be forwarded to the Purchasing Agent, Tanya Davis via e-mail at tanya.davis2@dot.gov and FMCSA_Acquisitions@dot.gov by July 21, 2009 so that they can be addressed prior to submission of your quotation. All questions and answers will be posted on the FBO website to allow equal access to information for all potential offerors. 8. All vendors interested should submit a proposal to the attention of the Purchasing Agent, Tanya Davis via, e-mail, to tanya.davis2@dot.gov and FMCSA_Acquisitions@dot.gov by 2:00 PM, EST, on July 27, 2009. This request for proposal shall not be considered direction to proceed with the subject effort, nor a promise of future direction to proceed. Offerors are solely responsible for submission costs.
