- Description
- The Architect of the Capitol (AOC) intends to engage a qualified contractor under a Firm Fixed Price Contract to furnish and install flourescent lamps (approximately 69,552 lamps/variation in fixture quantity should be expected) in existing fixtures located within the James Madison Building of the Library of Congress. The qualified contractor shall furnish all material, labor, tools, equipment, and related material as necessary to replace these flourescent lamps in accordance with the solicitation and resultant contract documents. This solicitation is unrestricted (that is, full and open competition). The solicitation will be issued on or about July 22, 2009 (REVISED). The solicitation will be available electronically at http://www.aoc.gov/business/procure-opps.cfm on the date of issuance. INTERESTED PARTIES ARE ENCOURAGED TO DOWNLOAD THE ELECTRONIC VERSION OF THE SOLICITATION. IT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE CONTRACTOR TO MONITOR THIS SITE AND THE AOC WEB SITE FOR ALL AMENDMENTS, OR OTHER CHANGES TO THIS SOLICITATION. Requests for hard copies of the solicitation package must be submitted in writing to Jeffrey Kuhl, Contract Specialist, via FAX (866) 489-4458 or email jkuhl@aoc.gov. All requests must include: Company Name, Address, Phone Number, Name of Contact Person, and Solicitation Number. TELEPHONE REQUESTS FOR THE SOLICITATION PACKAGE WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. The estimated magnitude of this project is between $250,000 and $500,000. A pre-proposal conference and site visit will be scheduled once the solicitation is released. Attendance at the site visit is strongly encouraged.
