- This project falls under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009. The project involves fuels treatment and restoration of wildlife habitat using specific type equipment such as a Lawson Aerator or similar type that is equally effective and efficient in its capacity to seed approximately 212 acres. The boundaries of specific lands to be treated are illustrated on site maps. The vendor will be expected to furnish all labor, equipment, supplies, and materials to the project site. Receipt of an award is contingent on the recipient's ability to meet the requirements in Section 1512 (reports on use of funds) of the Recovery Act. THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO CONTRACTORS UNDER the BLM Fuels Reduction IDIQ contracts which were solicited under NAR060060 for hazardous fuels reduction. Those vendors with an established fuels reduction IDIQ contract and have active registration with CCR.gov are the eligible to submit quotations for this project. The project sites are located in northern Ouray County. Estimated performance period is 08/15/2009 through 09/30/2009. The government's technical contact is Steven R. Gardner, 970-240-5335.
