- R6-27-09-040 This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation issued as Request for Quotation (RFQ) R6-27-09-040. A writted solicitaiton will not be issued. FAR clauses and provisions enclosed within this RFQ are those in effect through Federal Acqisition Circular (FAC) 2005-31 and available in full text through internet access at http://www.arnet.gov/far. This procurement is a total small business set aside. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) codes are 541513 and 561920 and the Small Business Standard size is 500 employees. QUOTES ARE DUE for this combined synopsis/solicitaiton on August 3, 2009 at 5:00 PM Pacific Time and shall be delivered by the specified time to the US Forest Service, Northwest Oregon Contracting Area, 16400 Champion Way, Sandy, OR 97055, ATTN: Contracting Office, Cindy Korman. Faxed quotes will be accepted (503-668-1763). Quoters must furnish the company name, DUNS number, TIN Number, address, phone and fax number, email address if available, and official point of contact. All quotes must be signed by authorized company official and faxed to 503-668-1763. All quotations or offers shall be considered. To be considered for award, vendor must be registered in the Central Contracting Registration (CCR), www.ccr.gov and complete the Reps and Certs information online a the ORCA website, https://orca.bpn.gov/. All questions regarding this solicitaitonshould be faxed to 503-668-1763 or emailed to ckorman@fs.fed.us. The Contractor shall provide integrated support for a virtual Forest Service Nationwide Sustainable Operations Summit. Support includes creating a user participation environment which creates the experience of a virtual conference center. This could include real-time plenary (which will be video and/orPowerPoint, plus the potential for voice interaction) and concurrent sessions (PowerPoint plus the potential voice interaction). There may be the potential for some specified sessions being prerecorded. Additional enhancements could include: user chat rooms; social networking; poster sessions and product demonstrations (both with potential live Q&A). All sessions and presentations will be recorded, posted to the web and made available to the Forest Service in it's entirety. The Summit operations center will be in Portland, Oregon. A limited number of attendees (50-100) will physically be present at the conference in Portland on October 27, 28, and 29, 2009. It is unknown how large the virtual audience will be. We estimate that virtual attendance will be between 350-500 or more throughout the United Stat3es and Puerto Rico. Please see attachment for details.
