Description
The Bureau of Reclamation intends to issue a Request for Quotations for a firmfixed-price contract for Passive Radio Tags and associated equipment, as described below: 8mm Passive Integrated Transponders (PIT) Tags:350 EA-Unique alphanumeric codes for individual tags (each tag different/unique)-134.2 kHz ISO frequency -Maximum dimensions 9mm and 2.2mm diameter-Compatible with reader specifications listed below 12mm Passive Integrated Transponders (PIT) Tags:10,000 EA-Unique alphanumeric codes for individual tags (each tag different/unique)-134.2 kHz ISO frequency -Maximum dimensions 12.5 mm long and 2.2mm diameter-Compatible with reader specifications listed below Stationary receiver/reader (FS 1001M):1 EA-Auto-tune ability to eliminate/reduce background noises and false signals-Multiplexing ability to monitor multiple antenna configurations, up to 6 different antennas-ISO FDXB compatible-Operating frequency of 134.2 kHz-Memory capacity of approximately 6,000 tag codes with date and time stamp -Portable unit-Can be powered by multiple powering options (direct current or alternating current) Versatile reader (FS 2001 FR/ISOCB):1 EA-Ability to be used as handheld, stationary or portable reader-Ability to detect frequency 134.2 kHz-Ability to be used with a variety of antennas-Can be powered by multiple powering options (direct or alternating current)-User defined settings for specific applications-Memory capacity of over 4,000 tag codes with date and time stamp The equipment will be used to monitor endangered suckers and threatened salmon at remote fisheries in the Klamath Basin. Some equipment is considered disposable field equipment (tags implanted into fish are not retrieved). Other equipment is durable and permanent (receivers to detect tagged fish). The Passive Radio Tags and associated equipment are to be delivered to the Bureau of Reclamation Klamath Basin Area Office, 6600 Washburn Way, Klamath Falls Or 97603-9365. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 334220. This procurement is set-aside for Small Business concerns only. Solicitation R09PS20102 will be posted to http://ideasec.nbc.gov on or about the 21st of July, 2009. The last day for receipt of proposals will be the 30th July, 2009. The solicitation must be downloaded at the above website; no paper copy of this solicitation will be distributed. Prospective contractors MUST be actively registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database at http://www.ccr.gov/ to be eligible for award.
