Description
The Naval Surface Warfare Center Panama City Division (NSWCPCD) intends to solicit Wilcoxon Research, Inc. on a sole source basis for six (6) VS-101 Vector Sensors specifically configured for use in existing systems, and a 100 foot extension cable to support testing of these sensors. Wilcoxon's vector sensor product has been accepted for use aboard submarine platforms and is the only company that provides the technical parameters required by our current project. The Request for Quote (RFQ) number is N61331-09-T-3522. Simplified Acquisition Procedures is the method of award for this procurement. The NAICS code is 334519 with a small business size standard of 500 employees. The order shall be firm fixed price with the anticipated award date of August 2009. Delivery will be to the Naval Support Activity Panama City, Receiving Officer Building 100, 101 Vernon Avenue, Panama City, FL 32407-7001. Delivery terms for this requirement are FOB Destination. In order to be eligible for award firms must be registered in the Central Contractor Registry (CCR). Vendors may obtain information on registration in the CCR by calling 1-888-227-2423, or via the Internet at http://www.ccr.gov. Please note that defense payment office may not make payment unless the contractor is established to receive electronic funds transfer (EFT). EFT payments are based on the contractor's EFT information contained in the CCR database. The NSWCPC has implemented Electronic Commerce (EC) in the acquisition area. Therefore, this synopsis and any applicable amendments will be available at https://www.fbo.gov. Vendors should regularly access this web site to ensure that they have downloaded all amendments.
