Description: Pre-solicitation Notice W9127S-09-R-0065: This solicitation will be advertised as unrestricted under the Small Business Competiveness Demonstration Program. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code is 238320(Painting and Wallpapering Services). The small business size standard is $14 million. The solicitation is for a firm fixed priced commercial performance based service contract to prepare the surfaces and paint all existing building components exterior of the facilities within the area of responsibility of the Greers Ferry Project Office, Heber Springs, Arkansas. The proposed shall be completed within 60 days of contract award unless an extension is granted due to severe weather conditions. Solicitation will be issued as an Request For Proposal (RFP) utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures per FAR 13.5. This solicitation will be issued via Internet only at the Armys Single Face to Industry Website (ASFI) on or about August 4, 2009. It is each offerors responsibility to download the solicitation from the internet website. No paper copies will be provided. Notification of amendments shall be made via the Internet as well. It is therefore the contractors responsibility to check the ASFI website daily for any posted changes to this solicitation.
