- NSN 4330-01-931-2473. Filter Element, Fluid. Coalescer type 24" X 4". Inside to outside flow. This NSN is listed as a primary QPL or QML; therefore, the Qualified Products List or Qualified Manufacturers List is applicable. Exception: QPL is not yet published. Navy approved sources are: Velcon Filters, CAGE 13573, p/n I-424MMF and Facet USA Inc., CAGE 87405, p/n CM424-5. I/A/W SPEC NR MIL-PRF-32148, BASIC DTD 10/02/06. All responsibe source may submit an offer/quote which shall be considered. The subject requirement is for acquisition of 1 NSN for the various end items. This proposed procurement includes an item within the Federal Supply Class 4330. The requirement will result in an award of an Indefinite Quantity Contract for which delivery may be placed for one (1) year. The solicitation will be available in FedBizOpps on or about 4 Aug 09 at https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/RFP/. The scope of this contract includes the acquisitioning for a 1T non-published QPL item. This acquisition is for supplies for which the Government does not possess sufficient, accurate or legible data to purchase part from other than the current source; therefore, the Government intends to solicit and contract with only approved sources under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). This solicitation will be issued as Unrestricted and other than full and open competition. The delivery for this acquisition will be on a FOB Destination basis. The proposed procurement contains an option to extend the contract period four times at the discretion of the Government. The total duration (base plus option years) shall not exceed 5 years. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance, socioeconomic, MBA program and JWODsupport evaluation factors as described in the solicitation.
