- Solicitation and Past Performance Questionnaire for Cross-Occupational Training Requirement The Department of Homeland Security, Customs and Border Protection (CBP) intend to procure support services to provide training, instruction and course material for cross-occupational courses for DHS/CBP employees. Cross-occupational courses shall be within the following subject areas: Briefing and presentation skills and techniques; Writing with clarity using critical thinking; Solving problems creatively and thinking outside the box; Managing multiple and competing deadlines and priorities; and Completed staff work and recommending effective, signature-ready solutions to managers and leaders. These courses will be used to establish an agency-wide program addressing these competencies to assist in reinforcing CBP culture and values, and provide all offices opportunities to proactively develop their staff. The target audience would be non-supervisory employees in the organization. The designated NAICS code for this requirement is 611430. The Small Business Size Standard is $6.5 million. A solicitation for this requirement will be posted on July 21, 2009 in FedBizOpps. A bidders' mailing list will not be developed and paper copies of the solicitation will not be mailed.
