- SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE: The 21st Contracting Squadron at Peterson Air Force Base (AFB), CO seeks potential sources to perform non-personal services in support of the Base Grounds Maintenance Services contract at Peterson AFB, CO. The government anticipates soliciting for the award of a performance-based, fixed price, indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract. We anticipate issuing a RFP for this requirement on or before 1 December 2009. Responsibilities of the contractor include, but are not limited to, providing all personnel, supervision, equipment, tools, transportation, materials, supplies and services, except as specified as Government Furnished, for grounds maintenance service to include snow and ice removal, and build landscape projects as they occur on Peterson AFB. Contractor(s) will be required to provide Automated Computer Aided Drawings (AutoCAD) software capabilities for this contract. The anticipated award is restricted to HUBZone small business certified contractors ONLY. The performance period of this contract shall consist of one base period and four, one year option periods. There is no guarantee that the option periods will be exercised. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) of this acquisition is 561730, with a size standard of $7.0M. The anticipated award date is 1 May 2010 or sooner and subject to the availability of funds. Contract award will be based on past-performance, price tradeoff, best value to the Air Force, all factors considered. All solicitation information will be made available through the FEDBIZOPPs website. Interested parties are requested to submit responses to this Sources Sought notice by close of business on 5 August 2009, 4:00 p.m. Mountain Standard Time.
