Description

Alteon App Switch The IRS has an immediate requirement for the purchase of Alteon Components needed for the Infrastructure Portal Engineering Project (IPE) Rust Network 2 Replacement of Alteon in IRS DITE/EITE. Please see attached requirement. Period of Performance: For CLIN 0001 delivery date of 30 days with a 90-day warranty upon delivery; for CLINS 0002, 0003, and 0005: 30 days; for CLIN 0004: 3-year maintenance on CLIN 0001 items after the expiration of the 90-day warranty. This is an RFQ as well as a brand-name justification for the "Alteon" brand. Alteon Components are the only ones that can meet the Infrastructure Portal Engineering Project’s requirement for the IRS DITE/EITE environment. These products are already approved by the IRS and being used in the current technical environment. To change the products would be very time consuming and costly to the government.
