Description

Project Title: Lewis & Clark National Forest: Jumping Creek Trail Crossing, AOP Description of Work: Construction of a bridge over Jumping Creek, on motorized trail No. 748. The requirements of this contract include shaping of stream channel and stream banks; construction of a trail bridge; placement of riprap; excavation and embankment; crushed gravel surfacing; constructing fence; installing signs; and related incidental work. No pre-bid tour will be conducted. A Firm-Fixed Price contract is expected to result from this solicitation. Price range: $25,000 to 100,000. The solicitation will be available on approximately 11 August 2009, and can be downloaded from this website at that time. Location: Meagher County, Kings Hill Ranger District, T12N, R8E, Section 18. Begin at Milepost 18 on Highway 89, then approximately three miles northerly on Forest Road No. 6413 to Forest Trail No. 748. Project is located at Milepost 0.05 on Forest Trail No. 748 at its crossing with Jumping Creek.
