Salient Characteristics: The AN/PVS-14 GEN III includes the following: Soft Carrying Case, Demist Shield, Sacrificial Window, Shoulder Strap, Lens Tissue, AA Battery, Operator's Manual, Objective Lens Cap, Neck Cord, and Eye Cup. On-axis resolution at optimum light level 1.3 cycles/milliradian System Magnification 1 X +0.03 System Distortion Less than 3% Range focus 25 cm to infinity Diopter focus +2 to 6 diopters Exit pupil and eye relief 14 mm on axis exit pupil at 25 mm Field of view 40 +2 degrees System brightness gain Adjustable from 25 to more than 3000 Operating Temperature 51oC to +49oC Storage Temperature 51oC to +85oC Weight (monocular with head/helmet 392 grams maximum mount adapter) Figure of Merit must not exceed 1600 An Accessory Kit for the AN/PVS-7 contains the following: 10 each Face Mask or Head Mount assemblies, 10 each Step Up/Down Ring Set Kit, 10 each 3X Magnifier, 5 each 5X Magnifier, 10 each Compass, and 10 each Flip to Side Base Mount.
