- This is a Sources Sought announcement, a market survey for written information only. This is not a solicitation announcement for proposals and no contract will be awarded from this announcement. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement or any follow-up information requests. Although this announcement states that it will be set aside for total small business, the Government is seeking responses from small disadvantaged business, hubzone business, women owned business and service disabled veteran owned business. This market ressearch is for information purposes only and should not be construed as a commitment of any kind. Any information received, in whole or in part, may be used to create the resulting acquisition strategy for the proposed requirements. Respondents will not be reimbursed for any information received and are encouraged not to provide proprietary data or business sensitive information as any information received may be used by the Government and/or released to the public. The Government is primarily focused on seeking suitable commercial services to meet existing Government requirements. Information on capable sources is sought for the following requirement: Cleaning of Grease traps at dining facilities at various locations throughout the Administration and Operation areas of the Naval Air Station, Lemoore, California. Work includes removal of oil, grease and all other wastes from grease traps located at dining facilities by scraping/cleaning/steam cleaning and subsequent disposal of wastes off Station. Sources capable of fully satisfying the above requirements for this service should submit capability statements/expressions of interest providing the Government the necessary information to determine actual capability by 17 August 2009. At a minimum, this information should include: 1) Identification of your company or organization, 2) your companys or organizations assertion of existing, full capability to meet proposed requirements, 3) existing data to verify capabilities, 4) business/contracts/marketing office point(s) of contact information, 5) notification of business size and/or special status and 6) any additional information that may be useful to the successful procurement of the services, if solicited. The FSC Code is Z216. The resultant solicitation will be published on the Navy Electronic Commerce Online (NECO). NAICS 562998 and the Standard Business Size: $6.5 Million.
