Description
Amendment No. 1 The USDA Forest Service, Apache—Sitgreaves National Forests, Springerville, Arizona, has a requirement to replace two (2) water tanks on the Black Mesa Ranger District, Overgaard, AZ 85933. The Government anticipates awarding a Firm Fixed-Price contract under the Request For Proposal (RFP) format. Price Range: The Government Estimate is between $250,000 and $500,000. This is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The Small Business size standard is $31.5 Million under NAICS code 237110. In order to be eligible for award of a Federal contract, Contractors shall be registered in Federal Vendor Databases (CCR / ORCA) and have DUNS / FEIN (TIN) numbers at time of award. The solicitation package, plans, and specifications will be made available on or after June 12, 2009, and will be posted at http://www.fbo.gov. No Telephone requests for solicitation packages will be accepted. RFP packages may be requested in writing by FAX to: (928) 333-5966, Attn: Margaret Cisco. A Pre-Proposal Meeting is scheduled for July 15, 2009, 10:00 a.m., at the Black Mesa RD Office, 2748 HWY 260, Overgaard, Arizona 85933. The government is seeking proposals under the Design - Build concept. Offerors will need to provide past performance and technical capability from similar projects sufficient enough that the Contracting Officer can make a Best Value award to the offer that is the most responsive to the needs of the government. There will be no bid opening under this RFP format, all responses received for this RFP shall become property of the government and shall not be returned. The government assumes no liability for preparation costs for offers submitted in response to this RFP. All RFP questions shall be directed in writing to the Contracting Officer, by email wabbott@fs.fed.us or by FAX to 928-333-5966, reference RFP AG-8173-S-09-0016. The CLOSING DATE for responses to the RFP has been extended to AUGUST 20, 2009, local close of business. Amendment No. 1 attached; Amendment No. 2 will follow at a later date.
