- The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) intends to enter into a contract with Jemal’s Best LLC, c/o Douglas Development Corporation for lease of parking spaces at 12345 Parklawn Drive, Rockville, Md. Award shall be made in accordance with FAR Parts 12 & 13.500. The proposed award is for services under NAICS 812930 Parking Lots and Garages for one base period of 8 months with two (1) year option periods. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. This notice is issued for information purposes and not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed action based on responses from this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Reponses to this notice must be sent via e-mail to Christopher.Cunningham@fda.hhs.gov or London.Johnson@fda.hhs.gov. No phone calls will be accepted. QUESTION SUBMITTAL DUE DATE: All questions are to be submitted via e-mail to Christopher.Cunningham@fda.hhs.gov no later than 12:00 p.m., EST on July 28, 2009. CLOSING DATE: This announcement closes July 30, 2009 at 12:00 p.m., EST: THE ANTICIPATED AWARD DATE: The anticipated award date is on or about July 31, 2009 however, dates in this announcement are subject to change. PROVISIONS and CLAUSES: The clause at FAR 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions, commercial items applies to this acquisition. The clause at FAR 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statues or Executive Orders, Commercial Items applies to this acquisition. FAR 52.217-8 Option to Extend Services & FAR 52.217-9 Option to Extend the Term of the Contract. FAR 52.232-33 Payment by Electronic Funds Transfer-Central Contractor Registration. Clauses and provisions are incorporated by reference and apply to this acquisition.
