- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation--FA4877-09-Q-0498-- is being issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through: Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-35 Defense Circular Number 20090715-1 Air Force Acquisition Circular 2009-0318 This procurement is being issued as a Small Business set aside under: NAICS code 332999. 1.Norotos PN#1841010-2 or equal item - HELMET MOUNT ASSY WITH UNIVERSAL SHROUD (TAN) FOR PVS-7/14/15/18/21 NIGHT VISION GOGGLES (NVG). 55 - RIGHT EYE OPTION / 15 - LEFT EYE OPTION FOR VIEWING AND STOWAGE ALLOWS CONTINUED PEROPHIAL VIEWING OF NVG SYSTEMS FOR ENHANCED SAFETY. THIS UNIVERSAL SHROUD IS DESIGNED FOR OUR 1-HOLE MICH/ACH HELMETS W/O STRAPS. IT WILL ALSO FIT NON BALLISTIC HELMETS SUCH AS PROTECH STYLE.
